This Strawberry Avocado Salsa screams summer! It is a delicious and satisfying snack or appetizer. You can substitute in any fresh fruit in place of the strawberries, like apples, peaches or cherries. Enjoy with a cool glass of crisp white wine (enjoy responsibly).

  • 8 oz (1½ cups) strawberries, diced
  • ½ small red onion, diced
  • ¼ cup fresh, chopped cilantro
  • 1 large avocado, peeled and diced
  • Juice of one lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • If desired, add a jalapeno pepper, diced
  1. Combine all ingredients in bowl, drizzle with lime juice and toss.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Chill in fridge until ready to serve. We’re serving our salsa with tortilla chips.

Enjoy as a topping to grilled chicken or fish, as a topping to a plant-based burger, as a topper to a spinach salad or with tortilla chips.
